The Warren County Junior Fairboard would like to invite all Warren County youth from 4-H, FFA, FHA, Grange, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Campfire and Farm Bureau to particpate in competitions and activities at the fair. 2008 Project Interview Dates

We hope that this gives families plenty of time to schedule events and vacations around fair and interviews.  Members who have conflicts with the date, need to contact the Extension Office as soon as possible!

Livestock/Horse Project Interviews – Saturday, June 21
All members taking livestock projects must participate in interviews on Saturday, June 21 in order to show/sell their animals at the fair shows.  This includes Beef, Dairy, Donkey, Goat, Horse, Llama & Alpaca, Poultry, Rabbit, Swine, and Sheep Projects.

The Dog Show will be Tuesday, July 8.

Cats and Small Animals will be judged during fair week on Friday, July 18. 

Aerospace, ATV, Bicycles & Demonstrations will be judged on Wednesday, July 9.

Nutrition and Clothing projects will be judged on Thursday, July 10 at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church.

All Other General Project Interviews -- Saturday, July 12.

Livestock Arrival Times, Check-Ins, Weigh-Ins, and Exhibitor Meetings

SATURDAY, JULY 12

6:00pm Beef cattle and dairy cattle, sheep and goats may arrive at the fairgrounds

SUNDAY, JULY 13

12 noon All Jr. Fair market steers and feeder calves in place
12 noon Jr. Fair Market Steer and Feeder Calf Weigh-In, Exhibit Hall E
1:30 pm All market turkeys in place
1:30-2:00pm Jr. Fair Market Turkey Weigh-in, Building C Lean-to
3:00 pm All Jr. Fair market goats and market lambs in place
3:00 pm Jr. Fair Market Goat and Market Lamb Weigh-in, Exhibit Hall C
3:00-6:00 pm All Jr. Fair market chickens, breeding chickens and other fowl must arrive on fairgrounds.
Poultry Check-in/Weigh-in, Poultry Barn
4:00-7:00 pm All Jr. Fair Rabbits brought to fairgrounds
Rabbit Check-in and Weigh-in, Rabbit Barn
6:00-9:00 pm All Jr. Fair market hogs must be brought to the fairgrounds.  Fair Veterinarian will inspect hogs prior to unloading
6:15-9:30 pm Jr. Fair Swine Weigh-in, Exhibit Hall C
10 pm All Jr. Fair breeding beef, breeding and dairy goats, alpacas & llamas and breeding sheep in place on fairgrounds.

MONDAY, JULY 14

9 am Beef, Sheep and Swine Exhibitors Meeting, Exhibit Hall E
10 am Alpaca, Goat, Llama, Poultry and Rabbit Exhibitors Meeting, Exhibit Hall C
4 pm Jr. Fair Dairy cattle in place (except milking cows)

TUESDAY, JULY 15

12 noon Jr. Fair milking cows in place
